The Supreme Court of India is the highest judicial forum and final court of appeal under the Constitution of India, the highest constitutional court, with the power of constitutional review. Consisting of the Chief Justice of India and 30 sanctioned other judges, it has extensive powers in the form of original, appellate and advisory jurisdictions.[3]
As the final court of appeal of the country, it takes up appeals primarily against verdicts of the high courts of various states of the Union and other courts and tribunals. It safeguards fundamental rights of citizens and settles disputes between various governments in the country. As an advisory court, it hears matters which may specifically be referred to it under the constitution by the President of India. It also may take cognisance of matters on its own (or suo moto), without anyone drawing its attention to them. The law declared by the supreme court becomes binding on all courts within India and also by the union and state governments.[4] Per Article 142, it is the duty of the president to enforce the decrees of the supreme court

Marks scored by candidates in Tier-I and Tier-II examinations, if conducted in
multiple shifts, will be normalized and such normalized scores will be treated as final
and will be used for qualifying the candidates to next stage of examination and to
determine final merit.

The official notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) 2018 examination has been released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on the official website.
Interested and eligible candidates can now apply for SSC CGL 2018 examination through the official website: ssc.nic.in
Every year, the commission conducts the CGL examination to fill various posts across the country. The SSC is mandated to make recruitment to Group 'B' (Non-Gazetted) posts and Group 'C' of (non-technical) posts under Government of India and their attached and subordinate offices.
The students have to appear in all the four phases of the examination (Tier- 1 to 4) to get a job in the commission.
The SSC CGL online applications will be accepted at www.ssconline.nic.in.
